A Bit About Me
I am a counselor who believes growth happens best when people feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. She uses a person-centered, CBT-informed approach to help clients better understand their thoughts, patterns, relationships, and strengths while honoring their autonomy and individual journey.
Areas of Focus:
Life Transitions, Grief & Loss, Addictions, Women’s Issues, Young Adult Women, Identity, Self-Discovery & Personal Growth
Therapy approach:
I believe you know yourself better than anyone else, and therapy should be a place where you can explore what’s going on without feeling judged or told who you’re supposed to be. I use a person-centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-informed approach to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, recognize patterns that may no longer serve you, and build on the strengths you already have.
I may challenge you when it’s helpful, but I don’t believe in doing the work for you. My role is to provide support, perspective, and tools while you take the lead in deciding what growth looks like for you.
Fun fact:
Some of my favorite hobbies are listening to music, watching football, and crafting.
